10 new Covid-19 cases reported in last 24 hrs
Over the past 24 hours, 10 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the country, with no deaths recorded during this period. The update was released on Wednesday (June 11) by the Directorate General of Health Services in its regular Covid-19 bulletin.
According to the statement, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country has now reached 2,051,770.
In the past 24 hours, 107 samples were tested, resulting in a positivity rate of 9.35 percent. To date, the overall positivity rate stands at 13.05 percent, while the fatality rate among confirmed cases is 1.44 percent.
The first Covid-19 case in the country was reported on March 8, 2020.
The first death followed ten days later, on March 18, 2020. The highest number of daily deaths, 264, was recorded on both August 5 and August 10, 2021.
