2 killed in Israeli attack on Iran’s state television

Two individuals, including a news editor and an administrative officer, were killed in an Israeli bombing attack on Iran’s state television channel IRIB, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

On Tuesday (June 17), IRNA stated that the news editor killed in the attack was Nima Rajabpur, and the administrative officer was Masoumeh Azimi.

The attack occurred on Monday, June 16, when Israeli warplanes targeted the IRIB building.

Following the incident, a video circulating on social media shows a female news anchor reading the news in the studio when suddenly the explosion sound shakes the studio, and dust spreads inside. Upon hearing the explosion, the female news anchor immediately leaves her seat and flees.
