2 more Milestone students discharged after 114 days of treatment
Two fourth-grade students have returned home after 114 days of treatment following the Milestone School and College plane crash in capital's Uttara.
Students Saiba Jahan Saima (10) and Saira Jahan (10) were discharged from the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Wednesday morning, November 12.
So far, 33 students injured in the crash have completed treatment and gone home.
Acting director Prof. Dr. Nasir Uddin confirmed that Saima had burns on 10% of her body, while Saira had 30%. Three students remain under treatment at the institute.
On July 21, a training aircraft crashed into the school building, killing 36 and injuring 124. The investigation committee attributed the crash to pilot error.
