At least 26 Palestinians, including eight children, were killed on Sunday in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip that primarily targeted displaced civilians, according to medical sources.
According to the Anadolu Agency report, a drone strike in Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza killed two civilians and injured several others. Another person was also killed in a separate drone attack in the same city, while one of the previously injured victims later succumbed to their wounds.
In the southern city of Khan Younis, a father and his son were killed when their shelter tent was struck. A separate drone strike on another tent in the western part of the city killed four more people, including two children, and left many others injured.
West of Khan Younis, near Asdaa city, four people—among them two children—were killed in strikes on two separate tents in the Al-Mawasi area. In the same region, another child died when a tent was hit, and a young man was killed when a drone targeted a bicycle.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces carried out intense shelling and gunfire in Abasan Al-Kabira, located in eastern Khan Younis. In Gaza City, a child was killed in a shelling incident, while another person was critically injured in northern Jabalia.
