28 cricketers in BCB's proposed central contract

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the list of national players included in the central contracts for the 2026 season. A total of 28 players have secured a place in the agreements, which will run from January 2026 to December 2026.

For 2026, BCB has divided contracts into four grades. Unlike previous seasons, there is no ‘A-plus’ category. Players’ salaries vary according to grade, with the top tier, Grade A, offering a monthly remuneration of Tk800,000.

For the first time, Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanvir Islam, and Hasan Murad have earned contracts, marking a milestone in their careers. Meanwhile, Saif Hasan, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Naeem Hasan, and Shamim Hossain return to the contracted list after previous exclusions. No player from last year’s contract has been dropped.

The four players in Grade A for 2026 are Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Liton Das, Taskin Ahmed, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
