At least 30 Palestinians have been killed and 99 others injured in the past 24 hours in ongoing attacks in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed this, reports an International English media outlet Anadolu Ajansi.

According to the news agency, the death toll from Israeli strikes over the past 24 hours has risen to 44,835 since October of last year. Additionally, at least 106,356 people have been injured in the ongoing attacks.

Palestinian health authorities said, more than 10,000 people are still missing under the rubble of destroyed houses across the Gaza Strip.

Israel has continued its relentless attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.

'The resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip' was passed with 158 votes in favor at the 193-member UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday. Nine countries voted against it, while 13 abstained.

Notably, this marks the first time Germany and Italy have voted in favor of a ceasefire in Gaza.
