41 brokers arrested from 4 government hospital premises in capital

The mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) raided various hospitals in capital's Shere Bangla Nagar area on Wednesday. The court arrested 41 brokers from the premises of four government hospitals.

The hospitals are - Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, National Heart Institute, National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, and Dhaka Shishu Hospital. On Wednesday (February 28) from 12 noon, a mobile court of Rab - 2 conducted the anti-broker operation in these hospitals. The operation ended at 2.00pm.

Major Mohammad Nazmullahel Wadud, deputy commander of Rab-2 said, "We conducted a raid in front of the hospitals today. Among them, 18 people were arrested in front of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, 15 in front of National Heart Institute, 4 in front of national Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, and 4 in front of Dhaka Shishu Hospital.
