Voting has ended in the 13th National Parliament by-election in Bogura-6 (Sadar) constituency. The office of the Senior District Election Officer and Returning Officer said that 42.49 percent vote was casted. Counting of votes is underway now. Voting began at 7:30 am on Thursday, through ballots and ended at 4:30 pm. Voting was held in a total of 150 centers. The total number of voters in this constituency is 454,043. Three candidates are participating in the by-election. BNP candidate and district BNP president Rezaul Karim Badsha with the symbol of paddy sheaf, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Amir of the city unit Abidur Rahman Sohel and Al Amin Talukder.

বগুড়া-৬ (সদর) আসনে ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ উপনির্বাচনে ভোট গ্রহণ শেষ হয়েছে। সিনিয়র জেলা নির্বাচন কর্মকর্তা ও রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তার কার্যালয় জানিয়েছে, ৪২.৪৯ শতাংশ ভোট পড়েছে। এখন চলছে ভোট গণনা। আজ বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল সাড়ে সাতটায় ব্যালটের মাধ্যমে ভোট গ্রহণ শুরু হয় এবং বিকেল সাড়ে চারটায় শেষ হয়। মোট ১৫০টি কেন্দ্রে ভোট গ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই আসনে মোট ভোটার ৪ লাখ ৫৪ হাজার ৪৩ জন। উপনির্বাচনে তিনজন প্রার্থী অংশ নিয়েছেন। ধানের শীষ প্রতীকে বিএনপির প্রার্থী ও জেলা বিএনপির সভাপতি রেজাউল করিম বাদশা, জামায়াতে ইসলামীর প্রার্থী বগুড়া শহর শাখার আমির আবিদুর রহমান সোহেল এবং বাংলাদেশ ডেভেলপমেন্ট পার্টির প্রার্থী আল আমিন তালুকদার।
