44 AL leader, activists arrested in Dhaka

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch (DB) arrested 44 leaders and activists of the banned Awami League during coordinated raids across the capital on Tuesday.

DMP Media and Public Relations Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Talebur Rahman confirmed about the arrests on Wednesday (12 November).

“The raids were conducted at several locations across Dhaka. Further details into this matter will be shared later,” he said.
