Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Mohammadpur police station conducted a special operation across various locations within the area, arresting five individuals involved in different crimes. Assistant Police Commissioner AKM Mehedi Hasan of the Mohammadpur zone confirmed the arrests on Tuesday, June 10. The arrested suspects are Selim (45), Rafik (40), Saddam (30), Ujjal (32), and Shamim (25). The operation took place on Monday, June 9, targeting multiple spots in Mohammadpur police jurisdiction. Among those arrested, one was a wanted suspect, one was involved in a drug-related case, one in a robbery case, and two in other criminal cases. All suspects have been forwarded to court for further legal proceedings.

রাজধানীর মোহাম্মদপুর থানাধীন বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বিশেষ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে বিভিন্ন অপরাধে জড়িত ৫ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে ডিএমপির মোহাম্মদপুর থানা পুলিশ। মঙ্গলবার (১০জুন) ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশের মোহাম্মদপুর জোনের সহকারী পুলিশ কমিশনার (এসি) এ কে এম মেহেদী হাসান এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেন। গ্রেপ্তাররা হলেন সেলিম (৪৫), রফিক (৪০), সাদ্দাম (৩০), উজ্জ্বল (৩২) ও শামীম (২৫)। গতকাল সোমবার (৯জুন) মোহাম্মদপুর থানা এলাকার বিভিন্ন স্থানে বিশেষ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে তাদেরকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। এদের মধ্যে রয়েছে ওয়ারেন্টভুক্ত আসামি ১জন, মাদক মামলায় ১ জন, দূস্যতার মামলায়&nbsp;১ জন এবং অন্যান্য মামলায় ২ জন। গ্রেপ্তার হওয়া আসামিদের আদালতে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
