5 inspectors of DMP transferred

Five inspectors of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred in a recent administrative reshuffle.

The transfer order was issued, signed by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters and Administration) Md. Amir Khosru on Monday (April 20).

According to the order, Inspector Md. Hafizur Rahman of the Detective Branch (Tejgaon Division) has been transferred as Inspector (Investigation) of Adabor Police Station. Inspector Md. Abdul Malek of Adabor Police Station has been posted to the DMP Detective Branch.

Inspector Kazi Abdul Khalek of Darus Salam Police Station has been transferred to Hatirjheel Police Station as Inspector (Investigation). Inspector Mir Md. Sazzad Hossain of Hatirjheel Police Station has been moved to the Detective Branch.

Meanwhile, Inspector Sojib Kumar Barai of New Market Police Station has been transferred to Kadamtali Police Station as Inspector (Investigation).

The order states that the transfers take effect immediately.
