The bodies of 67 more Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza in the past 24 hours have been brought to hospitals, and at least 320 have been injured. In addition, six more people, including two children, have died from the imposed famine.

Citing the Gaza Health Ministry, the Turkish news agency Anadolu News reported that since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli attacks in the past 23 months has reached 63,522, with at least 163,096 people injured.

"Many of the injured are still trapped under the rubble and on the road. As a result, rescuers are unable to reach them. Therefore, the actual casualties will be higher," the ministry said.

On the other hand, 393 people have died of starvation in the valley, which the United Nations has declared a full-scale famine, 140 of whom are children. Of these, 115 people, including 25 children, have died since the UN-backed Hunger Monitoring Program (IPC) declared Gaza a famine zone last month. And since Israeli authorities completely closed all border crossings into Gaza on March 2, the territory's 2.4 million population has been on the brink of famine.

Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera, citing the Palestinian national news agency Wafa, reported that 53 of the dead had lost their lives as of Sunday evening (September 7) in shelling by Israeli forces in Gaza City. The remaining 14 people were killed and more than 85 injured in drone strikes and indiscriminate shooting by Israeli forces while collecting humanitarian aid at the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) relief center. As a result, the number of aid seekers killed since the establishment of the Israeli- and US-backed GHF on May 27 has reached 2,430, and at least 17,794 have been injured.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked the Gaza Strip, killing 1,200 Israelis and taking 251 hostages. There are still 48 prisoners in Gaza. At least 20 of them are believed to be alive. Israel is continuing its military operation across Gaza, claiming to rescue them.

Despite announcing a ceasefire on January 19 of this year under pressure from the United States and other mediating countries, Israel has been conducting military operations again since March 18. So far, 11,976 Palestinians have been killed and 51,055 injured in this second phase of the operation.
