The authorities will relax the ongoing curfew for nine hours in Dhaka. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the curfew will be relaxed from 8am to 5pm. This will also be applicable in Narayaganj, Gazipur and Narsingdi, the minister told the media. The curfew relaxation period will be 8am-9pm in Chattgoram, 8am-8pm in Sylhet, and 7am-7pm in Rangpur as per the decision of the respective deputy commissioners, he added.

ছুটির দুই দিনে ঢাকায় চলমান কারফিউ ৯ ঘণ্টা শিথিল থাকবে বলে জানিয়েছেন স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী আসাদুজ্জামান খান কামাল। বৃহস্পতিবার (২৫ জুলাই) রাতে গণমাধ্যমকে স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী আসাদুজ্জামান খান কামাল বলেন, শুক্র ও শনিবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত কারফিউ শিথিল থাকবে। নারায়ণগঞ্জ, গাজীপুর ও নর্সিংদিতেও এটি প্রযোজ্য হবে। তিনি আরও বলেন, সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা প্রশাসকের সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী চট্টগ্রামে সকাল ৮টা থেকে রাত ৯টা, সিলেটে সকাল ৮টা থেকে রাত ৮টা এবং রংপুরে সকাল ৭টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৭টা পর্যন্ত কারফিউ শিথিল থাকবে।
