Actor Apurba welcomes baby daughter

Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba and his wife, Shamma Dewan, have welcomed a baby daughter, who was born in the United States.

Apurba himself shared the joyous news through a Facebook post on Friday afternoon (December 12).

The newborn, named Anaya, and her mother, Shamma Dewan, are reportedly healthy.

Accompanying the announcement, Apurba shared a photo of the newborn’s hand and wrote, “Alhamdulillah! We are grateful and delighted to share the arrival of our daughter. Welcome, dear Anaya! Please keep our little princess in your prayers. Thank you all for your love and support.”

Apurba married Shamma Dewan, a US resident, in September 2021. This is their first child together. Previously, Apurba was married to Nazia Hasan Aditi from 2011 until their separation in 2020, with whom he has a son, Zayan Faruq Ayash. Before Aditi, he was briefly married to actress Sadia Jahan Prova.
