Actor Khairul Basar injured in accident after shoot in Thailand

Popular actor Khairul Basar and cinematographer Mehedi Rony have sustained injuries in an accident while shooting a drama in Thailand. The accident occurred when the scooter carrying them lost control and crashed as they were descending from a hilltop after completing a shoot. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the country.

The accident took place on Koh Lan island in Thailand after 4:30pm Bangladesh time on Tuesday. Following the incident, Khairul Basar shared that they had gone to Thailand to shoot a few dramas and everything was going smoothly. One of the scenes was being filmed on Koh Lan island. While coming down from a hill after the shoot, the scooter suddenly went out of control, causing both of them to fall along with the vehicle.

Because the accident happened very quickly, they could not comprehend what was happening at first. Other members of the production crew, who were a short distance away, rushed to the spot and rescued Khairul Basar and Mehedi Rony.

Basar sustained injuries to his chest and knees, mentioning that he is also experiencing difficulty walking. He stated that they are currently in Pattaya and will receive treatment at a local hospital. Due to their physical condition, shooting has been temporarily suspended, he added.

Cinematographer Mehedi Rony was more severely injured, suffering skin abrasions and scrapes across several parts of his body. Both of them are scheduled to undergo X-rays, and further decisions will be made according to the doctors' recommendations.
