Actor Zakia Bari Mamo expresses regret over national awards

Popular actor Zakia Bari Mamo has expressed regret over not receiving national-level awards and recognition despite having the qualifications.

In a recent social media post sharing photos from award ceremonies, she wrote that she had missed out on many national awards in her life for various reasons. "Some were left out due to lobbying, some were not given because I could not perform at certain events. How many times my name has been cut from national lists," she wrote.

However, she described audience love as her biggest achievement. "In the midst of all this not getting, the audience's love is my biggest award," Mamo said.
