Actress Meghla Mukta in ICU after road accident

Dhaka film actress Meghla Mukta has been critically injured in a road accident. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in the capital. Doctors are preparing for emergency surgery as her condition has deteriorated.

The matter was confirmed in a post on Meghla Mukta's official Facebook page on Wednesday (July 29). The post said, "With heavy hearts, we inform you that Meghla Mukta has been in a serious accident. She is currently in the ICU and preparations for her surgery are underway. Please keep her in your prayers during this difficult time. We wish for her successful surgery and speedy recovery."

It added, "Please do not spread any unverified information or rumours. We will share any new updates on the official page as soon as we receive them."
