Actress Purnima performs Umrah

Popular film actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has performed Umrah at the beginning of the year and shared her spiritual experience on social media after completing the pilgrimage.

On Monday, January 12, Purnima posted four photographs on her verified Facebook page. The pictures were taken at the Jeddah Metro Rail Station while she was travelling towards Madinah. The post quickly received wide appreciation and love from fans.

The images show Purnima dressed modestly in a black abaya-style burqa and a white hijab, matching the religious atmosphere. Her graceful and restrained appearance drew strong attention from her followers.

In the caption, she expressed her emotions in a brief but heartfelt message, writing, “Alhamdulillah for everything.” She also added hashtags including Purnima, Umrah 2025 and Abaya style.

Earlier, Purnima had shared another photograph taken in front of a mosque in Madinah while wearing a black burqa, which also received warm wishes and prayers from her fans.

Many admirers have prayed for her Umrah to be accepted and have sent her messages of goodwill following the news of her pilgrimage.

It is believed that she travelled for Umrah with her husband Ashfakur Rahman Robin, though she has not shared any further details about the trip.
