For the final round, Mahi wore a shimmering champagne-gold mermaid gown featuring an off-shoulder design and elaborate stone embellishments. Outgoing titleholder Mithila wore a light blue and silver gown. Among those attending the event were actress Toma Mirza, film actress Dighi and filmmaker Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, along with other members of the entertainment industry.
According to the organisers, Mahi will represent Bangladesh at the 75th Miss Universe international competition, scheduled to begin in Puerto Rico on November 11. Mustafa Rafiqul Islam Duke, managing director of Flora Telecom Ltd and national director of Miss Universe Bangladesh, was present at the event.
Samira Khan Mahi is familiar to television audiences through her regular acting appearances on the small screen. She is also known for her poised presence and confidence. Following her victory in the national beauty pageant, the actress is now preparing to showcase her abilities on the international stage.
In her immediate reaction after winning the title, Mahi said her parents had encouraged her to pursue her ambition of conquering the world. Seeking everyone's prayers and support, she said she hoped to return home after making Bangladesh proud. She also remarked that if she won, Bangladesh would win.
In 2025, Tanjia Zaman Mithila represented Bangladesh at the 74th Miss Universe competition. Competing against contestants from 122 countries, she secured a place in the top 30, marking Bangladesh's first-ever placement in the history of the Miss Universe pageant.
