Afghanistan announces tri-nation ODI series involving Bangladesh and Zimbabwe

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for a tri-nation ODI series involving Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, to be held in the United Arab Emirates .

Bangladesh will begin their Afghanistan tour with a one-off Test against the hosts from October 9-13, followed by the tri-nation ODI series starting October 17 . Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe in the opening match of the tri-series on October 17. Afghanistan will play Zimbabwe on October 19 and Bangladesh on October 21, with the final scheduled for October 23 .

Following the tri-series, Afghanistan will play a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe on October 27, 29 and November 1, before concluding with a two-match Test series against Zimbabwe from November 5-17 .

Bangladesh have played 39 international matches in the UAE so far, but this will be their first Test in the country.
