Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza have already proven themselves a popular on-screen pair. After 'Shurongo' and 'Dagi,' the duo may appear together on screen for a third time. Preparations have reportedly already begun for a new film planned for release around the 2026 Durga Puja season.

Although the film's title has not yet been finalized, multiple sources have confirmed that director Vicky Zahed will be at the helm. Notably, this will be his first full-length feature film as director.

It is learned that shooting is planned to begin this August. Before that, a script reading session with the lead cast is expected to take place, after which principal photography will begin in Dhaka. The film is currently awaiting an official announcement.

Speaking recently about teaming up for a third time, Tama Mirza said that recognition for good work comes quickly for some and takes time for others. She expressed gratitude that this recognition had come her way, even if later than expected.

However, director Vicky Zahed himself has offered a different account. In an earlier statement to the media, he denied reports of a new Nisho-Tama pairing, saying he is currently occupied with work on the film 'Pulsirat.' Even so, multiple sources connected to the film industry claim that preparations are moving forward in full swing at the production stage.

Notably, Afran Nisho made his big-screen debut in the 2023 film 'Shurongo,' opposite Tama Mirza. The pair went on to earn both commercial success and praise from audiences and critics alike in the Eid release 'Dagi.' If all goes according to plan, the popular duo will now appear before audiences with a new story in their third film this Durga Puja.
