Alexa+ expands to bose speakers

Amazon has expanded its upgraded voice assistant, Alexa+, to a range of Bose smart speakers and sound systems, marking the first time the new assistant has been integrated outside Amazon’s own devices.

The rollout includes newly announced products such as the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Speaker and Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, along with existing devices like the Smart Ultra Soundbar, Home Speaker, and Portable Smart Speaker. The Lifestyle Ultra series is set to officially launch, with preorders already open on May 15.

Alexa+ is the latest version of Amazon’s voice assistant and offers improved conversational understanding. It can perform more complex tasks, such as making restaurant reservations or identifying songs based on vague descriptions from movies or scenes.

Amazon says the assistant is designed to better interpret natural speech and context-based requests. For example, users can ask it to play a song from a specific movie scene even without knowing the title.

Availability and Ordering from Bangladesh

Currently, Bose smart speakers with Alexa+ are not officially sold or shipped directly by Amazon to Bangladesh. However, users in Bangladesh can still access them through alternative methods:

You can order Bose Alexa-enabled devices from global platforms such as Amazon US, Amazon UK, or authorized Bose online stores.
Some products may require a shipping forwarder service to deliver items to Bangladesh.

2. Third-Party Importers in Bangladesh

Several electronics import shops in Dhaka and Chattogram bring Bose smart speakers through grey-market imports.
Prices are usually higher due to import taxes and shipping costs.
