Alia Bhatt’s bodyguard pushes fan trying to take selfie

A fan trying to take a selfie with Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt was pushed away by her security guard during a recent event in Mumbai, according to a video circulating on social media.

The incident reportedly took place on Friday (September 11) at the trailer launch of Alia’s production venture Don’t Be Shy. After the event, the actor was surrounded by fans and stopped to pose for photographs with them.

As Alia interacted with the crowd, a young man pushed through the gathering and moved close to her to take a selfie. Her bodyguard immediately intervened and pushed him away. The fan made another attempt to approach Alia but was again stopped by security.

Alia continued posing for photographs with other fans and did not appear to react to the incident, which happened beside her.

Don’t Be Shy, produced by Alia’s production company with her sister, is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 25.

Alia will also star alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which is slated for theatrical release in January 2027.
