Alisson injury major blow for Brazil
A major blow has come to the Brazil national football team ahead of the upcoming international friendly match. Veteran goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been ruled out of the squad due to injury.
The Brazilian Football Federation said in a statement that Alisson will be out of the field on Friday. Initially, coach Carlo Ancelotti planned to keep him in the team, but now Hugo Souza has been included in the squad as his replacement.
The 33-year-old Alisson has suffered repeated injuries this season. He has already missed some important matches due to hamstring problems and other reasons. He will not be able to participate in Brazil's matches against France in Boston on March 26 and Croatia in Orlando on March 31.
Football analysts believe that Alisson's lack of experience could be a big test for Brazil's defense, especially against strong France and Croatia.
