Anupam Roy to perform at Dhaka concert on June 26

Popular singer and composer Anupam Roy from West Bengal, India, will return to Bangladesh to perform after a long break. He will perform at a concert in Dhaka on June 26.

Rana Singh Roy, manager of 'The Anupam Roy Band', confirmed the matter from Kolkata. "Anupam Roy's performance in Bangladesh on June 26 has been finalised. We will come with the full band and will also hold a press conference in Dhaka before the concert," he said.

The organising agency 'Triple Time Communication' has already completed formal contracts with the band. The venue of the concert has not been finalised yet.

The official Facebook page of Triple Time Communication also posted an announcement about Anupam Roy's arrival. "One city. One stage. One true sound. Anupam Roy and his band are coming to Dhaka again this June with an unforgettable evening. Ticket sales will begin soon. Stay with us," the post read.

Anupam Roy last came to Dhaka on February 1, 2024, to attend the 49th founding anniversary event of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Prior to that, in July 2023, he performed at the 'Magical Night' concert at ICCB in Dhaka organised by Triple Time Communication. A video of him walking on Dhaka's streets had gone viral among fans at that time.
