Argentina's Leandro Paredes shown red card for sparking brawl after match

Argentina's players lost their temper after losing 1-0 to Spain in the World Cup final. As a result, Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes grabbed the Spanish footballers by the throat in anger.

Meanwhile, Gavi also tried to attack the Argentine player. When Thiago Almada fell into the middle of the scuffle, Paredes grabbed Gavi's jersey and threw him to the ground. Paredes was also shown a red card at the end of the match.

Earlier, Enzo Fernandez received a red card. As a result, Argentina's team became a team of 10 men.

In the 1990 World Cup final in Italy against West Germany, Pedro Monzon and Gustavo Desotti were shown red cards, and 36 years later, two more Argentine players, Enzo Fernandez and Leandro Paredes, joined that list.
