The Australian cricket team arrived in Bangladesh on Friday afternoon, June 5, to play white-ball series across two formats. The team landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to play three ODIs and three T20Is.

Although the Australian squad is missing several senior stars like Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, the visitors will not be an easy side to beat.

Bangladesh have already announced their squad for the first two ODIs, with the biggest surprise being the recall of batting all-rounder Mossadek Hossain after three and a half years. Afif Hossain and Mahidul Islam Ankon, who were in the squad for the last series against New Zealand, have been left out.

A training camp will begin at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur from Saturday, June 6. The first ODI will be held on June 9, followed by the next two on June 11 and June 14, all in Mirpur. After the ODI series, three T20Is will be held in Chattogram on June 17, 19 and 21.

Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs: Mehedi Hasan Miraz (captain), Soumya Sarkar, Saif Hasan, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Tawhid Hridoy, Liton Das, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mossadek Hossain, Rishad Hossain, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Nahid Rana.

Australia's ODI squad: Mitchell Marsh (captain), Xavier Bartlett, Alex Carey, Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Matthew Renshaw, Tanveer Sangha, Liam Scott, Adam Zampa.
