The film "Bandhob," produced by Anupam Kothachitro and directed by Sujan Barua, is set to be released on International Mother Language Day, February 21. Producer Anup Barua stated that while the film was censored a while ago, the release date was finalized for February 21.

"Bandhob" is an entirely original story that portrays the struggles of a child with no known birth identity. The film's plot follows the life of a child discovered abandoned in a dumpster.

Anup Barua explained that the release of the film was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Later, the production of a government-funded film, "Chaya Brikkho," further postponed its release. However, with the current shortage of quality content in the country, he believes now is the perfect time to release "Bandhob."

The film features performances by Mou Khan, Gazi Rakayet, Joy Raj, Sumon Sen Gupta, Habib Khan, and others.

Mou Khan shared with the media, "In this film, I saw myself as an actress, not a heroine. The character was challenging for me, which is why I was eagerly looking forward to the film's release."

"Bandhob" includes a total of five songs. Four of the songs were written by Sudip Kumar Deep, while the other was written by Munshi Wadud. The music was composed by Sheikh Sadi Khan and M.A. Rahman.
