Bangladesh drawn in group C for T20 World Cup

The ICC has finalised the group stage for the T20 World Cup, scheduled in India and Sri Lanka in February. Bangladesh has been drawn in a challenging ‘C’ group, facing England and West Indies in the group stage.
The other teams in the group are Nepal and Italy. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 12.
Group A features host India, who will play Pakistan, along with USA, Namibia, and Netherlands. Group B includes hosts Sri Lanka, Australia, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman, posing a moderate challenge. Group D is also tough, with South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, UAE, and Canada.
The tournament is planned to start from February 7, with the India-Pakistan match expected on February 15, though the opening date is not yet confirmed.
