Bangladesh will take on Australia in the third and final T20 International in Chattogram today, aiming to avoid a series whitewash after losing the first two matches and conceding the series.

Despite an early boost from a historic ODI win earlier in the tour, the Tigers have struggled to carry that momentum into the T20 format, falling short in consecutive games and leaving only pride at stake in the final encounter.

The match is set to begin at 2:00pm (local time) at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium, Chattogram.

Bangladesh are expected to make multiple changes to their XI following repeated batting and bowling inconsistencies. Saqlain is likely to be dropped, while leg-spinner Rishad Hossain may also miss out. Shamim Hossain Patwari, despite modest returns, could retain his place.

The top order may feature Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Saif Hassan, with Soumya Sarkar at number three. The middle order is expected to include Parvez Hossain Emon, skipper Towhid Hridoy and Shamim Hossain Patwari, while Sheikh Mehedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed could add depth in the lower order.

In the bowling department, Taskin Ahmed is likely to return after missing the first two matches, joining Mustafizur Rahman and Nahid Rana in the pace attack.

Australia have already wrapped up the series with dominant performances in the opening two matches, putting Bangladesh under pressure to respond in front of home supporters.
