Bangladesh will face a do-or-die challenge against Zimbabwe in the second T20I today (July 17), with the Tigers needing a victory to keep the three-match series alive after slipping to a 1-0 deficit.

The crucial encounter will be played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, with the match scheduled to begin at 4:30pm (Bangladesh time).

Following a disappointing defeat in the series opener, the team management is expected to make several changes to the playing XI, particularly in the bowling department, in a bid to revive Bangladesh's campaign.

Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed could be rested, paving the way for leg-spinning all-rounder Rishad Hossain. The team is also considering the inclusion of Mosaddek Hossain Saikat to add greater depth and balance to the middle order.

In the pace attack, Abdul Gaffar Saklain is in contention for a place in the XI, with Mohammad Saifuddin likely to make way. However, the final selection will depend on pitch conditions and the team's tactical approach.

Bangladesh have already lost both the Test and ODI series on the tour, and another defeat today would hand Zimbabwe the T20I series as well. Victory, therefore, is the only option for the visitors if they are to force a series decider.

Probable Bangladesh XI: Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Saif Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Towhid Hridoy (captain), Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Abdul Gaffar Saklain, Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana.
