Bangladesh in same group with Portugal-Wales, 5 matches in 3 days
Bangladesh has been placed in a tough group in the FIFA Under-15 World Cup and Festival 2026 to be held in Azerbaijan. In Group ‘G’, Bangladesh is with Portugal, Wales, Indonesia, Burundi and Fiji.
A total of 191 countries will participate in 32 groups in this competition organized with the participation of young footballers from various countries of the world. There Bangladesh will have to play on a consecutive busy schedule. Bangladesh’s youths will play a total of five matches in just three days.
Bangladesh’s first match is on October 24. On that day Bangladesh will face Wales at 9am.
The next day on October 25 Bangladesh will have to play two more matches. They will take the field against Portugal at 2:30pm. On the same day Bangladesh’s opponent at 8:45pm is Indonesia.
On October 26 also there are two matches on Bangladesh’s schedule. Bangladesh will play against Burundi at 2:30pm and against Fiji at 8:45pm.
That means Bangladesh’s under-15 team will have to play five matches within just 72 hours in the group stage of the competition.
