Bangladesh name 23-man squad for Vietnam friendly, Singapore qualifier
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a 23-member squad ahead of upcoming international fixtures, including a friendly against Vietnam and an AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Singapore.
Head coach Javier Cabrera has retained a largely unchanged squad, with no new inclusions. However, defender Bishwanath Ghosh returns to the side after a long absence. Regulars Hamza Choudhury and Shamit Shome have also been included.
Bangladesh will face Vietnam in a friendly on March 26 before taking on Singapore in their final Asian Cup qualifying match on March 31.
The squad features a balanced mix across all departments—goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards—as the team management looks to finish the campaign on a positive note despite missing out on qualification for the tournament proper.
