Bangladesh today handed over emergency medical relief supplies to the Iranian Ambassador in Dhaka for dispatch to Iran following the decision of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The assistance is being sent through the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, foreign ministry's press release said here.

প্রধানমন্ত্রী তারেক রহমানের সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী, বাংলাদেশ আজ ইরানে পাঠানোর জন্য ঢাকায় নিযুক্ত ইরানি রাষ্ট্রদূতের কাছে জরুরি চিকিৎসা সহায়তা সামগ্রী হস্তান্তর করেছে। পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের এক প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে আজ এ কথা জানানো হয়েছে। এতে আরও বলা হয়েছে, এই সহায়তা বাংলাদেশ রেড ক্রিসেন্ট সোসাইটির মাধ্যমে পাঠানো হচ্ছে।
