Bangladesh to tour England after 17 years, play Test at Lord's

Bangladesh last toured England for a bilateral series in 2010. Since then, over a decade has passed without the Tigers playing in England. However, the wait is finally over — Bangladesh will tour England next year.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced its 2027 international schedule on Thursday (July 23). According to the schedule, the Bangladesh men's team will play one Test match against England at the historic Lord's Cricket Ground in London from May 28 to June 1, 2027.

Additionally, the Bangladesh women's team will also tour England during the same period. The women's team will play a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series.

Welcoming the announcement, ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said, "We are delighted to welcome the Bangladesh men's team for a Test match at Lord's and the Bangladesh women's team for white-ball series. This will be the first time England will face Bangladesh in a Test on home soil since 2010."
