The trophy for the three-match ODI series between the Bangladesh and Sri Lanka women's teams was unveiled in Rajshahi on Sunday, April 19. The trophy was unveiled at an event held at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium at noon by Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Joty and Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu. After the trophy unveiling, both captains spoke to the media, sharing their plans and expectations for the upcoming series. Nigar Sultana said Bangladesh will aim to win the series by capitalising on the home advantage. Meanwhile, Chamari Athapaththu expressed confidence in Sri Lanka's victory. The first ODI of the series will be played at the same venue today at 9:20 am.

রাজশাহীতে বাংলাদেশ ও শ্রীলঙ্কা নারী দলের মধ্যকার তিন ম্যাচের ওয়ানডে সিরিজের ট্রফি উন্মোচন করা হয়েছে। রোববার (১৯ এপ্রিল) দুপুরে রাজশাহী বিভাগীয় স্টেডিয়ামে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে ট্রফি উন্মোচন করেন বাংলাদেশ অধিনায়ক নিগার সুলতানা জ্যোতি এবং শ্রীলঙ্কা অধিনায়ক চামারি আতাপাত্তু। ট্রফি উন্মোচন শেষে দুই দলের অধিনায়কই গণমাধ্যমের সঙ্গে কথা বলেন এবং আসন্ন সিরিজ নিয়ে নিজেদের পরিকল্পনা ও প্রত্যাশা তুলে ধরেন। নিগার সুলতানা জানান, ঘরের মাঠের সুবিধা কাজে লাগিয়ে সিরিজ জয়ের লক্ষ্য নিয়েই মাঠে নামবে বাংলাদেশ। অন্যদিকে চামারি আতাপাত্তু শ্রীলঙ্কার জয়ের ব্যাপারে আত্মবিশ্বাস প্রকাশ করেন। আজ সকাল ৯টা ২০ মিনিটে একই ভেন্যুতে সিরিজের প্রথম ওয়ানডেতে মুখোমুখি হচ্ছে বাংলাদেশ ও শ্রীলঙ্কা নারী দল।
