Bappa Mazumder announces solo concert after 2.5 years

Popular singer Bappa Mazumder is set to return to the stage with a large-scale solo concert after nearly two and a half years.

Titled “Moonlight Melodies,” the concert will be held on October 9 at the Krishibid Institution auditorium in Dhaka.

Mazumder announced the show on social media on Sunday night (September 13), sharing the poster and urging fans to save the date. The event is being organised by Mavix.

Ticket sales have yet to begin. Organisers are expected to announce ticket prices and other details soon.

Mazumder, who has been making music for more than three decades, has performed relatively few solo concerts during his career. He held his first solo concert in 2022, followed by another in February 2024. He also performed at a smaller-scale solo show in July last year.

The announcement of his upcoming concert has already generated excitement among fans, with many expressing interest in attending through comments on his social media post.

Alongside performing live, Mazumder continues to release new music and take part in instrumental performances, maintaining a strong connection with his audience more than three decades into his career.
