Reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured their place in the Champions League final after a thrilling 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the second leg of a semi-final on Wednesday night (May 6). The draw gave the French club a second consecutive title-deciding tie, with a 6-5 aggregate lead.

Arsenal will face PSG in the final in Budapest on May 30. The London club had already secured their place in the final by beating Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Tuesday and leading 2-1 on aggregate.

PSG, who came into the match with a 5-4 first-leg lead, dominated the match from the start. Ousmane Dembele, who scored twice last week, put the team ahead just three minutes into the match. He scored a brilliant goal from a perfectly placed cross from Khvicha Kavaratskelia.

Bayern needed at least two goals to equalise. As a result, PSG were largely defensive for much of the match and used counter-attacking tactics to seize the opportunity. After the break, Bayern became desperate and PSG had plenty of opportunities to attack. Desiree Duey and Kavaratskelia came close to scoring late in the match.

Harry Kane equalised for Bayern in the dying moments of injury time. However, it was not enough to keep the Bundesliga champions' dream of reaching the final alive. As soon as the final whistle blew, PSG celebrated their place in the final after a thrilling two-legged tie.
