Bayern thrash Union Berlin 7-0 as Kane scores his 100th Bundesliga goal
Harry Kane made history by becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich thrashed Union Berlin 7-0. Michael Olise scored a hat-trick in a dominant display, while Kane marked his milestone with a goal and a second-half header.
Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for Bayern in the 18th minute, firing a powerful shot into the net from the edge of the box.
Bayern were awarded a penalty in the 38th minute after Roth fouled Michael Olise inside the box. Kane stepped up and calmly converted the spot-kick with a precise effort to the goalkeeper’s left, completing his 100th Bundesliga goal in just 98 appearances.
Bayern extended their lead shortly before half-time. Olise found the net with a superb strike from the edge of the penalty area to make it 3-0.
The hosts continued their relentless attacking display after the break. In the 54th minute, Olise delivered a cross from the right and Kane rose to head the ball powerfully into the net for his second goal of the match, making it 4-0.
Bayern added another in the 70th minute when Al-Sibari scored his first goal for the club. Receiving the ball from Alphonso Davies, he broke through the Union Berlin defence and went one-on-one with the goalkeeper before calmly slotting the ball home.
Three minutes later, Olise moved closer to completing his hat-trick. The French forward latched onto a long through ball, raced clear of the defence and fired towards goal. His effort struck the post before finding the net, giving Bayern a 6-0 lead.
Olise completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute with a spectacular strike from outside the box, putting the finishing touch on Bayern’s emphatic victory.
Bayern eventually secured a 7-0 win, while Kane’s landmark goal saw him become the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 100 goals, adding another record to his name.
