BCB announces recruitment of 2 new selectors
BCB has issued a notice for appointment of selectors for Bangladesh cricket team. Interested candidates can submit their applications by March 8.
BCB said that candidates must have experience of playing at least 100 matches in first class and List 'A'. In addition, they must have good judgment, skills and communication.
The new selectors will be appointed for a period of two years and will be responsible for selecting players for the national team and the 'A' team. In addition, they will also be responsible for monitoring the talent and development of players in the pipeline.
Earlier, Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu is serving as the chief selector for a period of two years from February 2024. His contract expires next February. In addition, Abdur Razzak also resigned from his position as a selector with BCB last October. This time, there are plans to appoint two new selectors in place of Lipu and Razzak, one of whom will be the chief selector.
