BCB to donate 3rd T20 ticket sales to Milestone tragedy victims
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that all proceeds from ticket sales of the third T20 match between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be donated to support victims of the recent Milestone School and College plane crash.
In an official statement released on Thursday (July 24), the BCB confirmed that funds will be directed to assist those affected by the tragedy, as well as to the 'July Shaheed Smriti Foundation.'
BCB President Aminul Islam stated, “Cricket is more than just a sport in Bangladesh — it carries a sense of responsibility. In this time of national mourning, we stand in solidarity with the victims and their families. This contribution, though modest, reflects our commitment to being part of the healing process.”
The BCB also thanked fans who attended the match, acknowledging their role in supporting the initiative. The board said it hopes the gesture will resonate beyond the game and serve as a message of unity and compassion in the face of national tragedy.
