Bengal people have taught infiltrators and their protectors a lesson: Amit Shah

Federal Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah has said that the people of West Bengal have taught infiltrators and those who protect their interests a lesson that parties accustomed to the politics of appeasement will never forget. In a post on X on Monday, May 4, Shah said that the BJP will certainly fulfil the hope and trust that the people of Bengal have placed in Narendra Modi's leadership.

Addressing BJP workers in West Bengal, Shah paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives, faced violence, endured torture, but never deviated from the path of their ideals in the difficult journey from zero to a vast majority. "I bow to those workers and their families," he said.

Shah further wrote that the BJP will work tirelessly to restore the lost glory of Bengal, the sacred land of great figures like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, and to realise the dream of 'Sonar Bangla'.
