From Xiaomi's BDT 5,000 flat discount to Samsung's 30% off and Mastercard's 50% online slashes, retailers across Bangladesh are going all-out to make this Eid a perfect time to upgrade your phone.
With Eid-ul-Adha expected to fall around May 27–28, Bangladesh's smartphone market is buzzing with festive campaigns, flat discounts, card-less instalments, and cashback offers — making this perhaps the best time of the year to grab a new handset.
Whether you are hunting for a mid-range daily driver or eyeing a premium flagship, brands and payment platforms alike are rolling out deals that slash hundreds to thousands of takas off regular prices. Here is everything you need to know before you shop.
Brand-by-brand breakdown
Xiaomi - "Eid with Xiaomi" campaign
Bangladesh's top-selling smartphone brand is running its flagship festive campaign from 2 May through Eid day. The headline offer is a flat BDT 5,000 discount on the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, or alternatively, up to 12 months of 0% EMI via bank cards. Shoppers can also pick up the Redmi Note 15 5G through the brand-new Halal Flex card-less instalment plan — starting with a down payment of just BDT 3,000 — and receive a free Redmi Watch 5 Active in the bargain.
Samsung — Up to 30% off on mobile phones
Fair Electronics, an authorised Samsung reseller, is promoting up to 30% off on the latest Samsung mobile lineup, with free shipping across Dhaka on qualifying orders. A recent Pickaboo campaign additionally highlighted the Samsung Galaxy S24 at an effective price of BDT 59,999 — combining a BDT 20,000 exchange bonus and a BDT 10,000 festive discount off the standard BDT 89,999 retail price, making the flagship more accessible than ever.
Pickaboo — Exchange & upgrade offers
Pickaboo's exchange programme is making premium phones dramatically affordable this Eid. The platform offers instant trade-in valuations ranging from BDT 2,000 to BDT 40,000 depending on device condition, with the exchange value deducted directly from the new phone's price. Market data suggests 45% of smartphone purchases during the Ramadan-Eid 2026 period involve trade-ins — a clear sign of their growing popularity.
"This Eid, we have introduced a card-less instalment facility through Halal Flex to make Xiaomi smartphones more accessible for everyone."
— Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country Manager, Xiaomi Bangladesh
Payment platforms
The discounts do not end with the brands themselves. Several digital payment platforms have launched parallel Eid campaigns that stack additional savings on top of existing brand offers.
Mastercard
Mastercard has rolled out a comprehensive Eid-ul-Adha campaign, giving cardholders access to up to 50% off on online electronics purchases and up to 35% at physical stores of retailers including Transcom, Vision, Walton Plaza, Haier, Minister, Singer, Electro Mart, Sony Rangs, and Electra International. The "Mastercard Lakh Takar Utshob" sub-campaign also awards gadget vouchers to top spenders.
bKash
bKash is offering a bundle of discounts and cashback worth more than BDT 8,000 in total savings on Eid shopping payments made through the app, valid until 31 May. The offer spans electronics alongside clothing, groceries, food delivery and more.
Pathao Pay
Pathao Pay, in partnership with SSLcommerz, is running a campaign (7–28 May 2026) offering up to 20% off at participating online merchants across fashion, travel, electronics, and lifestyle categories — making it possible to combine a brand discount with an additional payment-level saving.
