Bidushi Bornita crowned Lux Superstar champion

Rajshahi’s Bidushi Bornita has been crowned the winner of this year’s Lux Superstar, following a glittering grand finale held in Dhaka on Friday (April 3).

The competition, which returned after a seven-year hiatus, featured five finalists in the final round. Bornita emerged as the champion, outperforming Amina Islam from Chattogram, Nusrat Afrin Yumuna from Khulna, Tista Pal from Dhaka, and Nazah Nawar Binte Nurul from Pabna.

The winner’s trophy was presented by Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar, Unilever Bangladesh CEO Ruhul Quddus Khan, and 2007 Lux Superstar winner Bidya Sinha Saha Mim.

Bornita also received a Swarovski crystal trophy and a luxury car.

On the event, Amina Islam was named first runner-up, while Nazah Nawar Binte Nurul secured the second runner-up position.

Organisers said the competition evaluated not only beauty but also acting skills, personality, style, and content creation ability.

The grand finale was broadcast live on Channel i and its digital platforms.
