BNP hails Women’s Futsal champions of SAFF

For the first time, Bangladesh emerged champions in the SAFF Women’s Futsal held in Bangkok, defeating Maldives 14-2. The victory earned warm congratulations from the BNP.

In a statement on Sunday, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “Bangladesh’s triumph over Maldives with a 14-goal margin in the SAFF Women’s Futsal, held in Bangkok for the first time, has brought immense pride to the country on the international stage. This is Bangladesh’s biggest victory against Maldives in the tournament. Through this win, the team’s morale and sporting excellence have reached a new height.”

He further added, “I am confident that in the near future, they will continue to shine Bangladesh’s name on the global stage. I extend heartfelt congratulations to the coaches, officials, and everyone associated with the Bangladesh team in SAFF Women’s Futsal and wish them all-round success.”
