BNP leads in all 6 seats of Naogaon in preliminary results
In Naogaon district, preliminary results from the constituencies show that candidates of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) are leading in all six parliamentary seats.
Naogaon-1 (Constituency 46): Out of 166 polling centers, results from 64 centers have been counted. BNP candidate Mostafizur Rahman has received 77,518 votes, while his closest rival, Mahabubul Alam of Jamaat, has secured 52,236 votes.
Naogaon-2 (Constituency 47): Out of 124 centers, 44 have reported results. BNP’s Shamsuzzohah Khan has obtained 51,857 votes, compared to 48,185 votes for Jamaat’s Enamul Haq.
Naogaon-3 (Constituency 48): Results from 49 of 142 centers show BNP candidate Fazle Huda leading with 59,732 votes, while Jamaat’s Mahfuzur Rahman has 43,367 votes.
Naogaon-4 (Constituency 49): Out of 117 centers, 84 have reported results. BNP’s Ikramul Bari Tipu has received 97,394 votes, ahead of Abdur Rakib, who has 66,835 votes.
Naogaon-5 (Constituency 50): From 49 of 118 centers, BNP candidate Zahidul Islam Dholu has 59,732 votes, while Jamaat’s A. S. M. Sayem has 43,367 votes.
Naogaon-6 (Constituency 51): Out of 115 centers, 55 have reported results. BNP’s Sheikh Rezaul Islam leads with 53,412 votes, followed by Jamaat’s Khabirul Islam with 49,446 votes.
