Bollywood actress Karishma Tanna welcomes first baby

Bollywood actress Karishma Tanna and her husband, businessman Varun Bangera, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The actress gave birth on Wednesday (July 29) and shared the joyous news with fans through a joint social media post.

Announcing the arrival of their son on Instagram, Karishma wrote, "Our greatest blessing arrived on the sacred day of Guru Purnima. July 29, 2026. Welcome to our world, little one." The couple also shared a special birth announcement card to mark the occasion.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from celebrities and fans alike. Actors Smriti Irani, Malaika Arora, Dia Mirza, Vikrant Massey, Sonu Sood, Rahul Vaidya, Bharti Singh, along with several television and film personalities, extended their best wishes to the couple and their newborn.

Karishma and Varun tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai on February 5, 2022. Their son is the couple's first child after four years of marriage.

Earlier this year, Karishma revealed her pregnancy and regularly shared glimpses of her motherhood journey on social media, giving fans updates throughout the months leading up to the birth.

A familiar face on Indian television, Karishma gained widespread recognition through hit serials including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Naagin 3, and Qayamat Ki Raat. She later established herself on OTT platforms with acclaimed performances in Hush Hush and Scoop. The actress is also the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, adding another milestone to her successful career.
