Bosnia and Herzegovina secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Qatar in their World Cup group match, controlling the game from the start and dominating throughout the 90 minutes.

Bosnia took the lead in the 29th minute through Kerim Alajbegovic's clinical finish. They doubled the advantage in the 35th minute when a Qatari defender's clearance went into his own net. Qatar pulled one back just before half-time through captain Hassan Al-Haydos in the 42nd minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

After the break, Qatar pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but Bosnia's organised defence and quick counter-attacks kept them at bay. Ermin Mahmic sealed the victory with a powerful strike in the 80th minute, making it 3-1.

Bosnia dominated in possession, attack and chance creation throughout the match. Qatar, despite being somewhat organised in defence, made repeated errors in midfield and lacked effective finishing.

The win gives Bosnia three crucial points and puts them in a strong position in the group, while Qatar's path to the next round has become more difficult.
