Brazil is facing Morocco in their first match of the FIFA World Cup 2026. This important Group 'C' match is started on Sunday (June 14) at 4 am Bangladesh time in New Jersey, USA.

Neymar is not in the first match of this World Cup due to injury. As a result, the Seleção will have to take the field without the 'number ten'.

Even so, coach Carlo Ancelotti has made a big surprise in the XI against Morocco. Igor Thiago has got a chance in the XI instead of an experienced striker. He will handle the attack with Vinicius Junior and Rafinha.

Brazil's official starting XI for their opening 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Morocco lines up in a 4-3-3 formation: Alisson (GK), Douglas Santos (LB), Marquinhos (CB), Gabriel (CB), Igor Ibanez (RB), Casemiro (DM), Bruno Guimarães (CM), Lucas Paquetá (CAM), Vinícius Júnior (LW), Igor Thiago (ST), and Raphinha (RW).
