BTTF to hire Iranian coach for $2,000 per month

The Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF) is set to bring Iranian coach Midia Lotfolahnasabi to the country at the end of November. She will initially join on a three-month contract, with plans to extend it to two years.

Midia, a former Iranian national champion, has completed Level One and Level Two coaching courses under the International Table Tennis Federation. She has experience as a coach with the Kurdistan Table Tennis Board and as an assistant coach of the Iranian national team.

BTTF Secretary General Maksud Ahmed Sonet said that Thailand’s Patararton Pasarak, who previously coached for two months, is no longer available due to her busy schedule. “We are bringing Midia on a long-term basis to develop not just the national team but also age-group players,” he said.

The Iranian coach will receive a monthly salary of $2,000, with an additional $1,500 per month for accommodation and meals.
